DIY Mickey Mouse Gumball Machine under $10!!

I made this as a gift for a birthday party with the theme of Mickey Mouse and everyone uhhhhhhed and ahhhhhhhed about it, including the birthday boy! I love DIY gifts to save money and make something more personalized than a store bought gift! Made it for under $10!!! Here's what you'll need:

-2 small styrofoam balls for the ears
(I purchased a bag from Dollar tree)

-Black, red and yellow acrylic paint
(Purchased from Walmart each paint is .50 cents)

-paint brushes with sponge applicators
($1 at Walmart next to paints)

-Black glitter to coat ears (optional)
($1 at Walmart as well)

-2 buttons (Any size and either white or yellow looks good)

-Hot glue gun & glue sticks

-6 inch terra cotta pot (.75 at Walmart)

-3 inch terra cotta saucer (.75 at Walmart)

-glass bubble bowl (purchased at Dollar Tree)

-Any color gumballs, I used 30 red ones (only $2 to fill)
(Purchased from Party City 15/$1 or if making a larger one they sell $5.99 bags)

Steps: Paint the saucer and ears black, let dry. Once dry apply thin coat of black paint on ears and coat in glitter. Set aside.
Paint the rim of the pot yellow let it dry before painting next color. Paint top half black and the rest red. I just winged it and made sure to paint straight but you can tape off sections of it makes it easier for you.
Once everything is painted and dry, glue terra cotta pot and glass bowl together, make sure to add enough glue to be nice and sturdy. Then fill it with the gum balls. Put aside.
Carve a small insert on styrofoam balls to curve into the lid so you can put glue in there and then glue on to the top as desired.
I did a 1 inch slit by just pressing the balls onto the saucer lid and following the dent mark it left. Once dry, put the top (
on (not glued) and you're all done! So easy and very cute!

I had letter stickers so I just added them to the bowl with the birthday boys name for fun!

Thanks for coming by for the tutorial, you can see the finished result on my Pinterest account ! :)

Easy Three Blind Mice DIY costumes

My coworkers & I wanted something simple for a trio costume. The tricky part was it had to be office appropriate but still different and of course cute so we decided to be the "Three Blind Mice." We made our tutus for about $7, we bought the gray tulle & elastic ribbon from a local fabric store. We got a yard of elastic & 5 yards of tulle. Took us about 2.5 hours haha but we did pretty great or our first ever tutus attemp. Inordered the ears from eBay for super cheap 5 ears for $10 (we only needed 3 but it was a good deal so why not?) we then wore all black (long black boyfriend tee & legging like pants. Black wedges from Target & we wore our favorite black sunnies. The sticks, you won't believe me haha I just walked out to my backyard & picked up branches then spray painted them black (Hilarious, I know.) Go GREEN💚
For make up I used gel liner for our whiskers & nose outline then pink eyeshadow for our noses. I used MAC Ruby Woo matte lipstick & ta-daaa we were done! We got compliments all day 😊
Great work appropriate custome you and co workers can easily pull off...for less than $10!!

Hello, Hellllllllllllo!!!! Happpy HUMP Dayyyyy dolls!

So today's topic is a quick first impression on some make up brushes I recently purchased.
They are Jessup white & gold brushes & I got them for a whopping $12!!!

Maybe you've heard a thing or two regarding these brushes because they are coming up in the beauty world for being Sigma brushes DUPES!!

So, recently I've been bored with my brushes & I just felt like it was time to test some other ones out & experience a new & different style make up brush.
You know, sometimes we have to keep experimenting until we find brushes we Love!

Here's the details, I chose these after doing research on all the newest companies & saw a lot of hype over these, so I went on Ebay & bought them. They arrived super fast, so already I was pleased. They are SO soft & have so far no fall outs. Sturdy, strong handles & the white and gold is just so classic!

I've applied my face foundation with them and like the feel and the way it doesn't absorb all my product but actually leaves it on my face.

So far so good for me, I mean for $12 its worth the money.

If you'd like to see the seller I bought them from just comment below & I'll find the link for you!
